What is Raicilla?

La Raicilla is a distillate from agave, one more member of the proud family of mezcals, named after the Nahuatl word Mexcalli, which means cooked agave.

 

It has been made since Spanish Colonial times, and was strongly linked to mining. It is native to the western region of the State of Jalisco, Mexico.

 

Tradition that has passed from generation to generation.

 

Healing and aphrodisiac powers are attributed to him.

 

Each Raicillero Master will give you their personal touch.

About Us?

We confess that before discovering Raicilla, we were fans of Mezcal. When we tried it for the first time, we knew we had found “The One”.

 

We were entering this world, first as consumers and every day we are passionate about everything that had to do with its production.

 

Finally, one day enjoying some good raicillas, we decided to take action and create a Raicilla that shared our love, passion and gratitude for this distillate and for these mountains, forests, streams and every living thing that inhabits them.

La Xamana Raicilla, is completely handmade, organic and pure, it is produced in very small batches, it offers in each sip a tribute to Mother Earth, to her elements, to her times and rhythms; to Life and to the hands that intervene in each process.

We are pleased to share with you a kind, friendly profile that welcomes your senses and we hope that the energy you receive moves something joyful and powerful in you.
